Is there a color rule for second wedding dress and shoes?

Yea the rule is whatever the bride wants the bride gets. If anyone has a problem with it, they can kiss your butt. It's your wedding not theirs. Make yourself happy it's your day. You wanna remember your day perfect. It's only gonna be perfect if your happy with what you've chosen. If anyone has an issue, it's their issue not yours-Please remember that. They have some type of issue from way back that has them complaining or whatever. It has nothing to do with you. Hope you have a great wedding day-The way you want it to be!

Reply:yes, you must wear black. No, just kidding. Although I actually wanted to wear black for my wedding. Too bad my husband's family is so traditional. Just follow your heart. Wear the color and style of dress that feels like you and that you absolutely love! Unfortunately, to this day I regret the dress I wore because my mom and sisters loved it on me, and so I was like, okay I like it too, when in my heart I was wishing for something more "outside the box." So, go with what YOU like the most. Because we hope this is your last wedding dress!
Reply:nope. it is completely up to the bride- what she wants to wear. my sister wore an ivory color dress for her 2nd wedding and it was georgous! dont pay attention to the colors when you are going dress shopping, pay attention to the styles and what will look best on you
Reply:It does not matter. The popular consensus is that you wear white to your first wedding as a symbol of purity, however in ancient times that was not the case. The bride wore white as a sign of wealth, as white fabric was the most expensive fabric around. Wear what every you like and have a great day!
Reply:theres no rules at all ...yeah even wedding dress need not be white !!! ..just that last time when queen elizabeth got married , she decided to wear white instead of some other colour n from there it has become a "trend" for wedding dress to be white in colour ..so no worries :P n congrats !!
Reply:Well the rule is you are only supposed to wear white if you are a virgin...so make your own rules...
Reply:Pearl-colored dress with a scarlet letter D across the bodice.

This is for divorcees AND widows; the D stands for either divorce or death.
Reply:The rules don't really matter any more. Even white is fine.

It still bothers me, tho. to see a second time bride wearing a veil. A veil used to mean virginal. I think the bride could wear a hat or a ribbon, or flowers in her hair, or no headpiece at all.

Still, it's your day. Wear what you want. Ivory, pink, blue, even white.
Reply:Yes! The color must be the same as the home jersey of his favorite sports team, and the shoes must have at least 3 inch stilletto heels. Hey, I don't make the rules, I'm just passing information along. By the way, 2nd wedding bridesmaids dresses can be accent colors of the sports team, but not white. Just the rule.....
Reply:I plan to wear my wedding dress from my first mairagein my second...it was the best thing about my first so I plan to make it right this time...(off-white and beaded and strappless for me, but if hot pink is your thing and your perspective-hubby's thing...go with it.) It's more about what's important to the both of you, If appeasing others in your families is what the wedding is about, go with that and let the wedding be for others, but the marraige be for the both of you.
Reply:NO.
Reply:I'm pretty sure that the rule that you aren't "supposed" to wear white has basically been tossed so I think you can basically wear whatever you want! :)
