FASHION EMERGENCY!! shoes to go with formal dress!?

okay so i have a 8th grade formal THIS FRIDAY!! and i don't have shoes to go with my dress. the dress is a white dress that kind of poofs at the bottom. it has pink sparkely flowers. yeah so i've been looking for pink (any shade) shoes to go with it but i can't find any! and tomorrow's the last day i can go and get shoes!! can someone please help me find shoess!!!!!!!? pleasee!!

maybe try some cute flats, they dont have to be pink, a beige would also look good too, white, black, anything that goes with it.. most likely pink, white, or black, good luck! have fun!
Reply:It is a common misconception that your shoes have to be the same color as the dress,they don't ! Instead of trying to find a pink or white shoe to match your dress , try going with a fun shoe that is a color that will compliment your dress instead , and then match your accessories to the shoe.


For example I myself would probably go with a fun pair of red strappy sandals , then I would wear a pair of red earrings and or necklace , maybe even a fun bangle style bracelet or handbag. This way it not only sets you apart from the monochromatic ( people who feel the need to match everything ) but your whole outfit will be more visually interesting. Red is the color I would choose for myself ( I'm a brunette with dark hair and an olive skin tone ) but this is just an example, choose a color that goes well with your coloring and personality as well as compliments your dress, some other colors that would go well with the colors in your dress would be , silver , purple ( any shade but try not to get to pastel you want your shoes to pop ) of course red, you could even get away with gold. and I would definitely go with strappy open toe ,then you can paint your toe nails the sparkly pink of the flowers in your dress.Whatever you do have fun with it !
