What shoes should I wear with my black mock neck keyhole sequin dress?

I'm going to NYC for my birthday and I had bought this dress from Arden B. I found black sequined stilettos, but I was wondering what other possible shoes would go with this dress. I was thinking to possibly add a splash of color. Even though all black is very classic. I would be cordinating my earrings and bracelets with my shoes. Below is a picture of the dress. depends on what look you're going after, but i think that heels would be your best bet.


if you want more edge to your look or a more formal style, than i think the black sequined stilettos would be a good fit. black peep toe pumps would also do the trick- basically anything black.


if you want a more playful look, then you can pair the dress with more colorful heels. the good thing about a black dress is that it goes with practically anything. bright red stilettos would look ultra-sexy, while red pumps would give off a cuter more innocent vibe. any other bright color would look good, but red and black are a classic combo that always looks chic.


even if you choose the black stilettos, you can still hype up your outfit by adding some bright colored jewerly. a long dangling necklace would look cute, or maybe some chunky bracelets.

Reply:anything goes with black. I'd not do sequins as it would compete with the dress, but it has to be very dressy and reasonably comfortable. New York isn't a driving city, as you probably know.
