What shoes should I wear with this dress?

My husband's place of employment has a rather fancy dinner each year... It is semi-formal at a very nice conference center. I know the dress is appropriate, I have been attending these events for 7 years. I usually wear a dress that I can wear black shoes with, but I don't know what to wear with this dress....

Aqua is the color I want. Please help me with shoe color! I would be glad to hear about your ideas for shoe style and accessories as well, but I am really concerned with color. Thanks!

I would get a brightly colored pump, such as yellow or blue, and pair it with a matching color purse. If your looking for something more classy, i would stick with the basic silver or gold strappy shoe.

Reply:Shoe color will depend on accessories. Are you wearing any accessories? anything in your hair. While you do not want to go looking like someones missing twin you do want to be stellar in appearance.


White would be nice if you have white accessories. Personally I would go with a aqua colored shoe or a shoe with teal in it. I dont know about any other color without looking very loud.. Why'd you pick aqua of all colors?

Reply:Absolutely DO NOT wear white shoes unless you're under 10! Silver shoes would be the most appropriate. Accessorize with a silver necklace, chandelier earrings, and wear your hair in a low chignon. BTW, the dress is darling!
