Don't know what shoes to wear with a black and white dress?

Can someone plz help it is my mums party and she a purple dress in which she is wearing silver shoes. I was goin to wear silver shoes but now i can't beacsue she is i want to no if there are suggestions on stlye/colour shoe i should wear?? My dress is black with white spots

Reply:Black and white are neutrals so you can wear any bright color: red, bright pink, or turquoise would look hot. If you want metallic, you could go with gold since you don't want to do silver. You could also wear black, white, or black and white. If you do black, make it special by going with a strappy sandal that has rhinestones on it. Whatever color you choose, I would do a heeled shoe since it is a party (but you could do ballet flats if you don't wear heels).

It depends how much white is on your dress but from the sounds of it black would be best!


If the dress is strapless, has thin straps or short sleeves then go with strappy sandals - will look more partyish than, say, court shoes! Ballet pumps may look good if you are tall or don't like heels!
