I picked my cocktail dress, I picked my shoes but....?

Do I need to wear hose with that combo? We are going to an Air Force graduation thing.(can't really call it party, or can I)this evening, pretty formal, men are wearing tuxedos, and women were asked to wear cocktail dresses. Mine is with two skinny straps, knee length, blue(that actually matches his uniform)and silver. Shoes are silver, open toe pretty cute and really comfortable, with a few straps. Now....should I wear hose with that? If I do, I doubt I can wear the same shoes, so I'll have to wear something different. And what colour should the hose be? i really need some help with this, it will all take place in Hawaii, it's really hot and humid all the time here and there will be around 220 people in the room. I only have a few hours to decide, will be leaving the house in abt 4 hours. I appreciate the help, thank you

I never wear them. They're uncomfortable and they're always falling down. I've even had people tell me that they think it's more sexy. Try wearing it wround the house with and without. Let your body answer that question. =) Have fun!
Reply:You don't need hose and the shoes sound perfect.
Reply:donot wear hose! its too old fashioned and last minute changes are not worthy. Its a party not a job interview so dont worry girl :) Just go with your shoes that you planned to wear. Wearing a hose makes a lot of people look bad. Go ahead enjoy and let me know if it worked.
Reply:Then Girl if its hot, you dont need the hose. Go bare legged. I bet that would be way cuter, and you donr have to retire those cute strappy comfortable shoes!Add some cute bronzer from Sephora or Rite-Aid to make your legs stand out and look even. Plus, what if you get lucky that night?
Reply:Definitely no hose. If you got sexy legs with a sexy tan, then you're all set.
Reply:Oh good lord child! If i waas in Hawaiii there is NOOOO way i would wear hose. I dont even like hose where i live!
Reply:You should wear hose.
Reply:No, you should go 'bare legged' and I hope you have a nice tan and pedicured toe nails ... but in Hawaii even a 'formal' occasion where 'cocktail dresses' are proper, the 'bare leg' is the way to go, because of the TEMPERATURE and the humidity there.
Reply:no you don't have to wear to hose. If its hot be comfortable and you will be great.
Reply:lol...lol....LMAO......

I'm sorry it's a serious question but, when I read, "I picked my cocktail dress, I picked my shoes but....?".

I honestly thought you were gonna say, "BUT I have no Date".(to go with). Sorry......I just couldn't resist.

Have a Great time...Tan legs and no 'hose'!
Reply:NO, I would definitely not wear hose! The outfit sounds really cute, and these days(esp in a place like Hawaii) hose are out! You can still be formal and not wear hose....good luck and have a good time!:-)
Reply:I would say leave the hose, you dont need them.... if you say your dress is knee lenght and it's hot then go ahead with-out them....
Reply:If you have some color on your legs and your legs are freshly shaven, NO Panty Hose. I wore panty hose in Hawaii and regretted it. Loose the hose, keep the dress, it sounds like a perfect compliment to the Gentleman's Air Force Uniform.

Have fun and by the Way, tell him THANK YOU for Serving OUR COUNTRY! God BLESS you for the support you give him, and god bless him for being there! THANK YOU!!

HAVE FUN!!
Reply:Usually when it is a formal event you should wear hose. It just makes the whole look look classy and elegant. I also like to wear them because I sometimes get cold and they keep my legs warm, not to mention making them look tone and sleek. You should go for a shade of your leg color.

When in doubt go for it. It wont make your attire look anything but nice.
Reply:wear stockings- they're more comfortable and sexier
Reply:no hose.. just some short leggings or knee socks.
