What shoes should I wear with this dress? (Pic included- this one works!)?

My husband's place of employment has a rather fancy dinner each year... It is semi-formal at a very nice conference center. I know the dress is appropriate, I have been attending these events for 7 years. I usually wear a dress that I can wear black shoes with, but I don't know what to wear with this dress....

Aqua is the color I want. Please help me with shoe color! I would be glad to hear about your ideas for shoe style and accessories as well, but I am really concerned with color. Thanks!

your right about not wanting to wear black shoes with it. they will look too dark against the aqua. you might want to look for a nice pair of silver heels. nothing overly fancy, just something simple and clean like the dress.





since its a strapless dress, you could have a lot of fun with a nice necklace, to fill that space. dont go too overboard on it though. a nice peice of jade that matches the color of the dress would be appropriate. dont get anything too casuall looking, definatly opt for something more formal.





thats about all ive got. be careful going overboard on the aqua color in the accesories though, the dress is a lot of one color so adding too much extra of it in the necklace and earings becomes too much of a good thing.

Reply:You can purchase white satin shoes and have them dyed to match exactly. Either that, or go with a pair that are in the same color family, only a little darker.

Reply:IF you are having diificulty with finding the perfect pair of matching shoes, don't be afraid to go with silver. It matches everything and a pair with rhinestones would look great with your satin dress. Also, maybe a silver choker necklace and danglie earrings would be stunning.
