Shoes and accessories for this dress??

Just bought this dress ( see the link) for my end of Degree Ball but I'm not sure what shoes I should wear and what accessories to get. I'm really not a fan of heels so preferably something like an elegant ballet pump or a sandal would be good, but I'm not sure!

Also the fact its a halterneck,I was going to just wear earrings,as the bodice is beaded I dont want to overdo it with a necklace as well!

Basically I need some help with colours of things to go with it-shoes,a wrap and earrings!! Any help will be appreciated!

Shoes and accessories for this dress??
Thats a lovely dress. I think it would go best with heels, rather than a ballet pump. Open toe sandals would be fine. Dont try and match the colour to the dress, pick another colour to match with. I would go with black sandals with diamante detail across the strap. If you are having your hair up, go with stud earrings, but if your having your hair down go with dang-lies. As your hair moves people will get cute glimpses of them.

What colour is the wrap? perhaps you could match this with your shoes?

Enjoy your ball. x
Reply:Go for a pearl colour

One of my rules for my clients is that when wearing either Jewel colours, busy prints or metallics, keep accessories simple.

I am going to suggest a certain style of accessory then show you a Blow out and bargain for each. This is what i tell my clients.

Hair:

I think you should have your hair done with a hippie vibe, imagine loose curls, like Liz McClarnon or Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba.Tie it loosely at the back so that the hair comes back cascading onto yourshoulders.Try these pictures:

Reply:What a beautiful dress!

Try a medium size heel wedge, I'm not a fan of them but they work. Choose black wedges as they go with anything. If you're lucky, you may find a wedge the same colour as the dress!

I'm not great with acessories, but try to find some earings which is the same shade as your dress. You can find earings from Claire's, Acessorize. It's the summer sale season so try to find a pair of great earings from Fenwicks or John Lewis.

Good luck!

Oo also your dress is BEATIFUL!

Reply:OK well if i were you i would've worn heels most likely in a metallic or black though since you dislike heels i picked out some flats, for the wrap i would've gone w/ a wrap the color of the shoes, as for earrings i would go for a Small stub earring matching the color of the shoes and wrap.

try those?
Reply:If the dress covers up you feet then it would be acceptable to wear flat shoes. but if you can see your feet try wearing wedges sandels as flat shoes will look silly %26amp; wedges are really comfortable.

Don't wear a necklace as it will look over done, but try wearing over the top earrings...... The dress is gorgous %26amp; I'm sure whatever you'll decide it will look beautiful.

As for colours opt for gold jewlery, black shoes %26amp; a black wrap.
Reply:It is difficult with out knowing what your figure is like, but these functions tend to be long so flat shoes would help.
Reply:What a stunning dress!

I would go for a sandal. Pumps are far to casual for a dress thats formal.

Here are some shoes that could match...http://www.dune.co.uk/catalogue/styles.a...
Reply:ok I understand exactly what you are talking about when you say you dont want to overdo it to much : ) So i have some cheap but fab accesories and some sweet shoes that would look nice and classy with that one heck of a dress !!!

Reply:just earrings woul be fine dangly ones with garnets and

satin shoes wine coloured

perfect dress dude
Reply:Oh lovely. Obviously black. But also silver would look lovely. Keep jewellery simple so as not to distract from the dress, and sandals not shoes as shoes will look heavy. If you get heels with a slight platform on the front you will not feel as if you are "tottering"
Reply:Ok. Black or silver shoes. Either ballet pumps or something with a very small heel. Very small Though. For jewlery, either silver necklace or purple necklace or maybe pearl type necklace.
Reply:well no offense but that is a hideous dress but heres some accessories:
