What color shoes with a black dress?

I'm going to a "little black dress party" next weekend. I have a cute black dress that's about knee lenght and fited. I'm trying to think of what color shoes would look best. Whatever color I pick I think I'm going to replace the black ribbon/belt with the same color as the shoes. I want something other than black or gold. Something fun that stands out. I have some really cute zebra print peep toe but not sure how that will look.

What color shoes with a black dress?
Zebra peep toe pumps, silver platform lace ups, or red platform lace ups. The red would look very dramatic and cute. Plus, you can accesorize with chunky red jewlery to go with your adorable chunky shoes.

Reply:Hot pink pumps would be sooo cute, but don't match the belt with them it will not work as well. You could do a metalic ribon with the pink shoes or stick to black or maybe do a white belt and then the pink shoes. have fun!, ps match your nails with the pink to top it off!

Reply:Anything will go with flats, as long as the style of shoes are in. Flats are always a winner and look great with little dresses. If you can find a matching accessory, you could even pull of bright pink shoes with a bright pink headband or chunky bracelet for example. I've got more ideas, feel free to email/im me =]]

Maybe rather than a belt the same colour you could have your bag and jewellery matching the shoes?
Reply:The zebra is really cute. Another color that's nice is champagne or nude. It always goes well with black. Even try green, I've worn green sandals with black before.
Reply:It is 2007 about to be 2008 pls don't do the zebra print that was 2006. Since it is fall go with a bold (not bright) orange, yellow, or green ribbon/belt and have the shoes the same color.
