I want to wear this dress (sorry for the dodgey photos) to a formal (classy dinner date with boyfriend) occasion but i need some shoes! If you could please tell me what you think the best colour, brand and design of the shoe. Some links on where to find it would be great too! :)

My Sister has one very Similar.


She wore it to a Party the other week, with some high heeled, open toe platforms.


She looked Great.





I think this would be a great choice.


The bold and bright pattern already gives off a very retro and vintage feel.


The platforms will tie in with that overall style and era. :)


With an open toe, it will give a more classy and dressy finish.





Russel and Bromley do a wide range of these Shoes, but be expected to spend abit of cash.


For a cheaper and more affordable option, head to your local Topshop or Office.





They are bound to have something along these lines.

Reply:This dress is very colorful with lots of patterns, so I think black shoes will be your best bet. Platform heels will really complete the vintage look of the dress, it's a very fun summer dress, so plain platform sandals like these would look very good:

Reply:Well most suggestions sound lovely but why odn't you go with pale green? like the same hue as one in th edress? don't go for very high heels cuz the dress's prints are enough glamour. Jewelry should be soft and simple. i would go with pale green velvet ballerinas or like one of the girls mentioned peep toes in the same colour with pale pink toe nails

Reply:i think you should wear something brown and something that will go with the warm colors on your dress. Try surf brands and things that will look sort of tropical. Maybe throw in a flower here and there.
