What are the right shoes for this dress?
if you keep the dress at the same length, go for delicate silver shoes that match the detail under the bust. This will create a simple girly, but elegant look. You dont want to weigh your outfit down with heavy, dark coloured shoes.





If you decide to hem the dress, you could try getting a not-so-delicate, really brightly coloured pair of shoes - like electric blue, a really bright purple or yellow.. yes it sounds hideous, but you'd be surprised. At our school prom, this girl wore a similar silver mid-length dress teamed with electric blue shoes, she really stood out and looked amazing.

Reply:(I'm horrible when it comes to matching shoes with dresses as well) but I think some gold shoes would look nice, to play up with the silver.





As for the hemming, it depends how tall you are. If you're petite, opt to get it hemmed because a full-length dress will just overwhelm you, and make you shorter. If you're on the taller side (5'7"+) you don't need to hem it.

Reply:yeah its really pretty and im sure it will look amazing but i would make it shorter in my opinion it would look better. you could do a grey shoe, open toe heels would look good in any color. since the dress is kinda one color you could use any color depends if yu want it matchy matchy. but the best style with a short dress (if you shortened it) is the heeled peep toe. closed toe is cute too but i prefer peep toed. hope i helped :D have an awesome prom ! i know i will :P
