Shoes for a violet dress ?

The dress is somewhat like Rihanna's,

it doesn't have that extra semi-transparent layer on top though, it's just silk, but the colour is exactly the same. And it's not bubble-shaped, the skirt of the dress is A-shaped, and a little bit longer (to the knee).





I'm wearing it to prom, but wanted to make it not too prom-like, so that i can wear it afterwards as an evening dress.





So...what kind of shoes do you suggest ? Please post pictures ! :)





btw, i don't think i would like violet shoes, because i would only be able to wear them one time, it's not a coulour that goes with everything... So suggest gold, silver or black, please.
