But since this is your graduation day and you'll want to look elegant, I am actually recommending that you ask your mom (or another female relative) if you can borrow their pearl jewelry. I think simple pearl earrings, a strand of pearls as a necklace, and some sort of heirloom bracelet would look stunning with a simple black dress.
