What is with women wearing black dress and red shoes?

I've noticed a trend in my office of women wearing black dresses with red shoes. Where in the world did this come from? It's an OK fashion...but why red shoes?

They go together yes. They also think it's GOOD to wear a regular color and then make it pop with a red or pink. So it's okay yes.

Reply:Black and Red, are fantastic, strong dominant and very sexy colours when put together. Also can be quite retro, 1950s and 1980s had a very strong black and red theme. Not confident? Dress mainly in black add a dash of red in accessories, shoes or bag. Confident wear a larger proportion of red or almost equal proportion.

But I guess it makes it pop, and adds some color, it seems like a cute trend, next time I go out I'll try it =D
Reply:It makes the outfit stand out. Since the dress is so simple, they want the shoes to pop.
Reply:o0o I absolutely love doing that. I also like to try different colors like blues, pinks, whites, greens...just really bright colors. I think it was an old fashion from like the 50's and you know how old fashions these days are making a comeback. So yeah, it's in. :-)
