Black sweater dress. What kind of shoes do I wear with it and should I wear a belt?

I'm wearing a black sweater dress to my BF xmas party and I'm not sure what type of shoes or accessories to wear. Please help. thanks! =)





Its long sleeve, deep v neck, black, a lil bit above the knee.

I would wear an animal print, 2" belt, and matching shoes! Cute!
Reply:plain black pumps or knee high boots would be my guess. make sure they're not shiny. a silver chain belt would look nice too i think.
Reply:Wear a knee high, high heel boot. Add a narrow red belt and a large beaded red necklace. Try some gold or silver bangles to make it xmassy.
Reply:I think some sort of belt would look nice - maybe a thin sparkly chain-like belt. As for shoes, I would say tall black boots or black heels.
Reply:Ok a good pair of shoes to wear would be stilletos. They will put a good look with the outfit and should be black to go with the dress. A belt would be a great idea! One thing that would make the outfit look great would be to wear a colored belt. Gold or silver would look good and belts with big buckles are really in stlye. Reply:If the dress clings nicely to you, you do not have to wear a belt. If it is baggy, definitely wear a belt. Wear black high-heels. With a v-neck, wear a short necklace.
Reply:Black stilettos. Silver accessories always go best with black. You can substitute some red to look a little festive.
Reply:Try a nice chain style belt draped around the hips and a nice deep red shoe and matching wristlet. Some nice dangling earrings will work so that you will not need a necklace. Try some lotion with sparkle in it to make your skin glow where the v is, in the dress. Maybe a dainty ankle bracelet, too. if you can, put your hair uin an updo. Chic!

Reply:belts are getting old. wear some stacked heels in a knee high boot form or anything with a heel. keep the jewlery in gold tones with probably a long necklace. a large handbag. if youre in a hot place some nice sunglasses.

Reply:I would consider wearing leggings under the sweater dress and it would look very cute with a pair of uggs. I dont think you should wear a belt with it because it will look like too much is going on. This is a perfect winter outfit.
Reply:I would wear the belt...it will make you look slim. just dont wear it too tight or up too high. you could possibly wear some type of stylish boot.
Reply:To dress it for a party, wear some sheer black stockings and some black heels...I would wear a gold chain belt, if you have one...





If it is more casual, I would wear some chunkier tights and some Jimmy Choo style boots...and maybe a thick vintage belt of some kind...
