Pastel yellow dress - what colour shoes?

i have a party next week and have bought a pastel yellow silk layered dress (quite short) what shoe colour - not yellow - do you think black would be too harsh?

Black would probably look alright. If you wanted darker tone shoes you could try a charcoal or greyish strappy heels? Or white shoes if you wanted a lighter colour. Depends what you feel more comfortable in :)

Reply:Gold would be a good contrast ...... but if that's not available, white would be suitable, as others have said. OR you could do a 'Minnie Mouser' and wear something violently red on your feet!

White or cream would be my initial thought definitely if it was summer





Some shades of brown can look nice with yellow or different blues and greens - it just depends what shades you can get, what accessories you have and also what sort of look you want

Reply:White! Dont do Black (WAY to harsh!) I would go with White or if its kinda cold wear a Navy cardigan and navy shoes (You could by those at J.Crew they have great cardigans and shoes!!)
