Light Gold Sweater dress - what shoes do i wear in a cold city?

I am going to a work Christmas party and have a light gold sweater dress that hits right above the knees. Do I wear boots with this? nylons? tights?

I have an ivory sweater dress that I wear with leopard print tights and brown knee high boots. A light gold dress can be worn with brown boots and no tights if you want something more toned down.





And what Christmas party are you going to in mid-January? Curiouser and curiouser...
